How many questions are in the Regitra exam and how many mistakes are allowed? 📝
Short answer: the category B theory exam consists of 30 questions solved in 30 minutes (you get as many minutes as there are questions). To pass you need at least 80% correct — i.e. at most 6 mistakes (24 of 30 correct). The exam costs €10, and a passed theory result is valid until the practical exam but no longer than 1 year.

Taking several categories at once, the specific questions of each category are added to the 30 general ones. Questions are closed, with 2–4 answer options, some with situation pictures; you may solve out of order and return to skipped questions.
How the exam is scored and what counts as a mistake
All questions carry equal weight and the pass mark is 80% correct answers. An unanswered question effectively equals a mistake, since only correct answers count — so answer everything. If time runs out, the test ends automatically and only the answers given are scored. The result appears on screen immediately, together with a mistake report by topic.
