Key rules
- Seaside zones operate 1 May–15 September at €0.30–1.00/h depending on the lot (the most expensive is by the Dutchman's Cap cliff); unpaid-parking notices there range from €7.20 to €30.
- Payment deadline: a "forgetfulness fee" notice can be paid within 72 hours of being recorded — then no administrative fine (€20–40, repeat €40–100) follows.
- Resident permits for Giruliai, Melnragė and Smiltynė: first annual permit €4, second €10 (Smiltynė €24).
