In Šiauliai the parking fee applies on weekdays from 8:00 to 17:00 in three zones. Tariffs are billed in 20-minute steps.

Key rules
- Zone hierarchy: a red-zone payment is valid in all three zones, yellow in yellow and green, green only in green.
- Notices: an unpaid-parking notice must be settled within 120 hours; otherwise a €20–40 administrative fine applies (€40–100 for repeat offences).
- Free parking: electric vehicles (with EV plates), holders of disability parking cards, and emergency services park free.
- Resident permits: owners of premises up to 200 m² get one free permit; students get a 6-month permit; residents may buy a monthly pass in their own zone at a 50% discount.
