KET 189 KET 189 Carrying Passengers

Passengers are permitted to be carried only in vehicles designated for this purpose (or specially adapted for this purpose) and only in places intended for passengers by the construction of the vehicle. Carrying passengers in the body of a heavy goods vehicle is prohibited, except for passengers carried for the needs of the national defense system, when the body is adapted for carrying passengers.

KET 193 KET 193 Carrying Passengers

Distinguishing marks must be attached to the front and rear of a bus carrying groups of children (under 16 years of age). The interior of a school bus carrying children and a vehicle bearing distinguishing marks for transporting children must have one accompanying person. When pupils are being carried by school bus, the functions of the accompanying person may be performed by the driver.
The front and rear of a bus carrying groups of children must be marked with square distinguishing marks with a reflective yellow background with a red border and a black symbol of the road sign "Children". The side length of the square is 400 mm; the width of the border is 40 mm. A smaller distinguishing mark, whose square side length is 300 mm and border width is 30 mm, may be used at the front of the bus.

KET 194 KET 194 Carrying Passengers

The driver of a school bus or vehicle bearing distinguishing marks for transporting children, or the person accompanying the children, must:
194.1. ensure the safe boarding (alighting) of children to (from) the vehicle;
194.2. as far as possible, board and alight children at stops;
194.3. accompany children under 10 years of age to the other side of the road;
194.4. when on the road, wear a high-visibility vest with reflective elements.

KET 195 KET 195 Carrying Passengers

It is prohibited:
195.1. to carry more passengers than provided for in the vehicle's technical specifications;
195.2. to carry passengers in such a way that they interfere with driving or limit the driver's visibility;
195.3. to carry children under 12 years of age on mopeds, motorcycles (except motorcycles with sidecars), tricycles, or all types of quadricycles;
195.4. to carry passengers in a towed bus, trolleybus, or in the body of a towed heavy goods vehicle; if the front or rear of a car is lifted onto a special support device, it is prohibited for passengers to be in the cabin (interior) or body of the vehicle being transported;
195.5. to carry passengers in trailers, except for passengers carried in motorcycle sidecars or in bicycle trailers designated for this purpose;
195.6. when teaching another person to drive, to carry children under 14 years of age;
195.7. in a school bus or vehicle bearing distinguishing marks for transporting children, to carry more pupils than the number of seats provided;
195.8. in a school bus or vehicle bearing distinguishing marks for transporting children, to carry pupils standing up;
195.9. to board (alight) bus passengers to (from) the carriageway side.
